The NHS Pharmacy First scheme gives patients quicker access to treatment and advice for common health conditions, without needing to see a GP first. The service is NHS-funded and delivered by trained pharmacy professionals.
At Pharmacy M, you’ll receive confidential, private consultations with the same level of care you’d expect at a GP surgery.

Conditions Treated Under NHS Pharmacy First
We can provide free NHS support and treatment for the following conditions (age restrictions apply):
- Sore throat (5 years and over)
- Sinusitis (12 years and over)
- Earache (1–17 years)
- Insect bites and stings (1 year and older)
- Impetigo (1 year and older)
- Shingles (18 years and over)
- Urinary Tract Infections in women (ages 16–64)
If your condition falls outside these, we’ll guide you to the right NHS service.
